History
Woodholme Accountancy Services was set up in August 2009 by John Davies (BSc, ACA). John is a qualified chartered accountant, with over twenty years of accounting experience in the corporate sector. John joined Dearden Farrow Chartered Accountants, Manchester in September 1981 after graduating from University College, Cardiff, with an Honours Degree in Accountancy. After qualifying as a chartered accountant in March 1986, John gained experience as a company accountant with a number of companies in the North West. In 1989 John joined Peel Holdings Limited as their Group Financial Controller and remained in that position for more than fifteen years. John gained extensive experience of company acquisitions, company reorganizations and corporate reporting in one of the North West’s largest property companies. Following this John was Finance Director at Modus, one of the UK’s leading property development companies.
